EDIT 3/18/24: Videos take too long to load. Ridiculously long. It's like I am back in the acoustic coupler days. __-------_------_--------------+++ Mostly OK. Some links don't work. Some articles not optimized for app. Confusing and inconsistent screen behavior. UPDATE: Constantly hangs on startup. UPDATE 2/4/2020: Still hangs, unknown error. Very frustrating.

The notifications no longer work. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app several times and made sure I enabled the notification alerts, but I still have not received any notifications. This has been an issue for the past few months. Also, the app no longer opens when selected. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app, and the problem has not been resolved. Once you open the app, you will hear "This is CNN," but the app remains on this screen and no longer shows articles or videos.

The app continues to be embarrassing for this day in age. Left a review three years ago, and submitted to CNN support, that notifications would no longer condense in notification panel like all my other apps do. About a month ago I stopped getting notifications all together. Have redownloaded, cleared cashe and data, etc. It's the app. Also frustrating that saved stories don't stay with my account. Why have a login then? Each time I have to redownload the app it clears my saved stories.
