Check every ID at the door in one look.
Point the phone at the back of a driver's license, or at a passport or ID card. CRDD reads it in a second and fills the screen: green to let them in, red to stop them, amber to check by hand. The age is the biggest thing on the screen, so you can read it from a step away in a dark room.
EVERY ID AT THE DOOR
• US and Canadian licenses and ID cards: the barcode on the back
• Passports and national ID cards from any country: the machine-readable lines
• No need to pick the type: CRDD knows what you hold up
• Scans on the first try, with the torch for dark doors
CHECKS YOU CAN TRUST
• Age against your limit: 18, 19, 21 or 25
• Expired documents
• License format checks for each state and province: issuer code, number format, dates, the under-21 layout
• Passport and ID card check digits
• CRDD says "checks passed" or "check by hand". It never says a plastic card is real when a phone cannot know that.
CHIP CHECK
Most passports and many ID cards carry a chip. Hold one to the back of the phone for a few seconds: CRDD reads the chip, checks the issuing country's digital signature, and shows the photo stored in it. That is real proof that the document is genuine, and that the face in front of you is the one on it.
RUN THE DOOR
• Ban list: a banned guest turns the screen red the moment they scan, with their photo
• VIP list for your regulars
• Passback: a warning when the same ID comes back in tonight
• Tonight's log: who came in, who was denied and why
• Stats: arrivals by hour, the age mix, repeat guests

No account and no cloud. Scans stay on this phone, encrypted. CRDD keeps no license numbers, only a keyed code to spot the same ID again, and it deletes old scans after the days you choose.
