About this app

The CurbsideConsultant APP provides direct access to programs written by experienced academic physicians based on national guidelines, current literature, and clinical experiences for instant suggestions on the evaluation and/or management of common medical problems based on users’ clinical input:

Examples of programs that provide clinicians with instant answers include the management of atrial fibrillation (rate control, anticoagulation, cardioversion, antiarrhythmics), Acid base disorders (interpretations adjusted for arterial and venous blood gases, albumin levels, complete differential diagnoses provided), Calculations for corrections of hypo- and hypernatremia (based on complete input and output, volume status), Cardiac stress test selection (based on baseline ECG findings and clinical history), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (acute and chronic management), Pleural effusion (complete suggestions for initial evaluation based on fluid appearance and clinical history), Evaluation of Proteinuria, Hematuria, and Kidney stones, management of Diabetic gastroparesis, Ascites, Anemia, evaluation of Kidney injury (routine and in liver patients), evaluation and management of Hypertension (based on clinical history, medication tolerance, etc), management of Diabetes mellitus, Thyroid nodule, Adrenal incidentaloma, Dyslipidemia, Renal tubular acidosis, and many more.
