Last time we ordered our food took a lot longer to get to us than stated, and when viewing the tracker the rider was on the complete opposite side of the city to us and put food was cold as a result. However we've generally had good service before when we've finally been able to place an order so thought we'd try again tonight.
Error occurred when i order with the app, used my comp to order instead. The order was delayed for 30mins, which they conveniently said it as due to the weather. Afterwards, i messaged them and they called saying they will refund, in deliveroo credits... Ask them for a full refund to your credit card account, its an option that is available but they dont prioritise.
The good I ordered never turned up at all even though I phoned and deliveroo customer services promised me it was still on the way even after the restraunt had closed. The worst part is I paid by card so I lost the money, they spent the first few weeks saying I would be refunded in 14days now they are saying iv already had a refund but my bank say different. According to the bank deliveroo do this quite often. So if you do decide to chance it at least pay cash so if it doesn't turn up you haven't had to pay for nothing
this is unacceptable. the food never came to our place, even though we called them in the 5 following minutes. the costumer service did not want to give our money back, and did not want to give us their boss' number either. they kept hanging up the phone while we were talking. now they blocked our number, and do not answer our mails or chats. we still do not have our money back and I presume we never will. DO NOT ORDER ON DELIVEROO. (this happened in France but can happen anywhere, especially since I've read the other reviews.) we are taking this to the court.
App is missing some useful features that are in the IOS app. Such as restaurant information (location) and the ability to rate the order. Given that new version gives ratings for restaurants, the inability to leave my own seems odd.
How can you let couriers ride in these conditions. Yesterday was rainy, snowy and slippery. Delivering took forever and no extra compensation for this? You should be ashamed.
Bug fixes and performance enhancements might sound boring, but they make ordering food with Deliveroo even better. There’s nothing boring about that, right?
