Initially the app is decent to use. I use it for my psychiatrist and therapist and it was nice to be able to pick my provider. Making an appointment is usually easy. HOWEVER, a HUGE drawback is that I cannot contact my provider outside of my appointments. So if I have a question about my medication, or if I need a refill, I can't just call or message quickly, I have to make (and pay for) an appointment. Also, if there is a technical issue it just tries for 5 minutes and then gives up and I'm SOL

This app is wonderful due to the people on it! However, it tends to not let you join appointments occasionally without having to work for it, which is mildly nerve wracking because a missed appointment is expensive. Customer support takes a day or two to answer which is very unhelpful when it's about an appointment happening currently that you can't join due to technical difficulties. To save you some time, if the app isn't working they'll tell you to update the app and restart your phone :)

Dr on Demand is seriously one of the most convenient pieces of technology. It's incredibly useful, easy to use and even when selecting the next available provider (chosen at random) they are always kind and happy to thoughouly explain medical terms processes ect. I never wait more then 15 minutes for the next available dr or when I make an appointment for follow up. You can take photos to submit as well as temperature and blood pressure if you have that available to you. Highly recommend!!
