About this app

DownToDate+™ is a medically themed dating app exclusively for US healthcare professionals created by physicians.

To ensure authenticity, we require that all users are verified before permitting access. Currently, healthcare professionals permitted access to the app include physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, dentists, nurse anesthetists, nurses, nurse practitioners, optometrists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, student physicians, veterinarians, and podiatrists. But check back soon as we will continue to add verifiable health professions.

You've dedicated yourself to the most noble and sacred calling to serve others. Understandably, no one knows what a career in medicine entails and the hefty toll it exacts financially, physically, and emotionally better than a fellow healthcare worker. We live, learn, laugh, and cry together. Why not love?

#AreYouDownToDate?

To find your personal consult, simply complete Steps 1-3 below.
(We promise it’s easier and more exciting than hospital credentialing!)

Step 1: Log in to your verified account and complete your History & Physical followed by your Preferences.

Step 2: Begin viewing users charts & request any interesting consults by tapping the heart icon.

Step 3: Mutually requested consults will result in an Accepted Consult! where you can now page (direct message) each other.

Not sure what to say to that cute pharmacist you've been crushing on? We've got you covered with a list of medical icebreaker pick-up lines to choose from!

Tip: Don't forget to fill out your questionnaire to help your colleagues get to know you better! You can filter by occupation, relationship seeking, and location, among others.

This app is bogus! No matter how many times I adjust the preferences, it says no one is available. Then it keeps giving me the same 6 consults repeatedly. None of them match the preferences to the point that some don't even live in the country. I've declined them & the system just reassigns. Skip this download! It's complete trash!

Could not even sign up, since you are required to take a picture of an employee access badge with photo, which my employer does no have.

App targeted for Healthcare workers, missing huge swaths of the allied health professions but has three separate entries applying to MD/DO. I don't think I've ever even met a Genetic Counselor, but they made the list.
