I used to love Gumtree. Now I hate it. The only reason why I still use it is because I don't know any other way of selling birds and poultry. I pay almost $5 for a post that expires in a month. There are ads (even though I pay for posts). I organise the information by separating chunks of text. However, when I see the post, all the information is in a huge messy block. Also, I had to resize all the photos, otherwise not able to upload them. We need someone to develop another platform.

Dear oh dear. I can no longer block selected users on the app. From reading various forums and chats about this exact issue it seems that you guys place a hidden limit on the amount of 'blocks' that you can place!? 😐 My Gumtree app no longer even offers me the 'block' feature! Unfortunately the Gumtree marketplace is flooded with people who are either stalkers, deliberately provoking, or just frustrating people that you no longer wish to be contacted by. THERE SHOULD BE NO LIMIT.

Gumtree is good but this Android App turned to garbage with its Sep 2025 update. I have 112 adverts on Gumtree but can only see earliest or latest 30 since. The rest are inaccessible on Android but visible on iPad and Microsoft. I have reinstalled the App and even installed it on another Android but same problem. UPDATE: I can now scroll through all my Gumtree adverts on this Android App but some curiously scroll through twice.
