Ratings and reviews

Messages do not get send in the app. I have done a trial with a friend and they did not get the message in their gumtree when I used the app. When logging in to the website, they did. They get junk email that messages do not get delivered. This makes it hard to rate someone well as it looks like they don't reply. Also hard to sell or buy an item.

I've been using the app for as long as I can remember. When I opened it today it asked/made me update. I've updated but every time I try to open it again it doesn't he same thing telling me to update. Brings me to the playstore. Now it's updated there's only the open button or the uninstall button. So I open and boom, again, tells me to update. With no option to x the message I just keep going in loops. Yes I've closed it properly and tried to open it again. It's extremely frustrating.

Gumtree could you please fix the behaviour where a message draft in progress gets removed from the write message box if you swap briefly between Gumtree and another app. Phones are multi tasking devices after all and it's really annoying when it happens. I'm on Android 9 pie, Sony XZ premium. Thanks.
