It works if you pay... sometimes. I've had the video doorbell for a few years. Sometimes I can get a live feed, most of the time I can't. It has a strong WiFi connection but the timer spins while trying to connect live. It's not a very helpful video doorbell when you're unable to make that live connection. The video capture feature works most of the time so long as you're paid up at $30/year which isn't bad, but a casual passerby can factory reset the device with a long press of the button.

I'm glad I didn't pay much for this door cam bc it only works about 10% of the time. The battery runs out in three days, and you have to have a subscription to record so it flips to the subscription page any time I try to look at app. When will I learn to NOT buy JUNK like this on Amazon!? I had originally given it a good rating bc it did connect on my 5g wifi and has decent viewing, but after a few weeks of frustration I'm changing my mind!

The picture is clear but the app lags. I am not sure if it works well in terms of motion detection yet as I just pulled it out of the box and I'm charging it now. Will update my review in a few days. So im back for an update just a few hrs later: the video feed freezes. it doesn't capture everything. someone was able to pull my camera off and moved it undetected. the only footage I have is of them ringing my bell after the fact. People walk by and it only captures part of it. Terrible.
