Very long winded and slow process, especially trying to scan & print. Can't even connect the laptop (android) via WiFi. So easy with older printers - set up WiFi to all devices - laptop,phone ,tablet just by adding personal WiFi code or a friend's,or in a bar - just ask for the WiFi password and you are in. With this new system you can't just put a document on the printer and press scan on your laptop. No ,document in, open app on phone, scan, file in documents, then recover it to print.madness

It takes more hands on just to print something from your phone and even then I couldn't print it without pushing buttons on the printer before it would print. On the canon I got rid of I just selected the photo and hit print and it would print without babysitting the printer. Too much hands on!!

I've never had a problem printing anything before in my life before I started using Epson printers and the Smart Panel app. I didn't realise you could compile so many bad design choices and keep going until what you're left with is this app. My mother pawned this printer and app onto me to get rid of it herself, and I wish she had just caved my head in with it. That's the only positive that can come from this.
