CallMiss automates your device's response to missed calls. When a call goes unanswered, the app detects that system event and automatically sends an SMS reply on your behalf — no user interaction required.

📱 CORE FUNCTIONALITY (DEVICE AUTOMATION)
CallMiss runs a foreground service that monitors your device's call log for missed call events. When a missed call is detected, CallMiss automatically triggers an SMS to the caller using the message you configured in the app.

This is an automated action taken by the app in response to a device event (missed call). Without call log monitoring and automated SMS sending, the app has no function.

🔒 WHY PERMISSIONS ARE REQUIRED
CallMiss requests only the permissions needed for its core feature:
• READ_CALL_LOG — used to detect missed calls
• SEND_SMS — used to send the automatic reply SMS
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / POST_NOTIFICATIONS — used to keep the missed-call monitoring service active and visible while enabled
• READ_CONTACTS (optional) — only used if you enable “Reply to contacts only”

Your privacy matters. CallMiss does not sell or share your call logs, contacts, or SMS content. Data used for the auto-reply feature stays on your device.
