Ratings and reviews

Good for checking on things, nothing else. video ads EVERY. SINGLE. HIGHLIGHT. Even when you have ESPN+. the video player is also trash, and not at all optimized. Infinite buffer anytime you try and choose a point in a video to go to, so make sure you literally never grt busy or called away from your phone mid watch. Scores are usually accurate to 30 or so seconds of an update in game, so good way to be the first to know, even before anyone outside the venue.

App would be closer to 5 stars if not for one major annoyance when watching a live game. if you have the video in portrait mode you have the menu below for other games and key plays but no box score stats for the game you are watching!? How can you not have this?? Many other apps already have it including Prime for their sports. They also have a better multi view setup where you can stack two on top of each other when watching in portrait view instead of the default side by side.

Epic POS app. It does not work at all. Ever. Not on my phone. Not on my laptop. Not on my Google 4K. EVER. Complete garbage. I have ESPN Unlimited through Xfinity. It does not matter that I am logged into Xfinity and can confirm that ESPN Unlimited is enabled. The ESPN app simply does not work. They also made MLB impossible to sign up for and watch games on this year. There is no way this app has a 4.4 rating unless Google only averages the 4's and 5's. Just read the comments.
