About this app

Forum is a dedicated space for the conversations that matter most to you, built for the communities you already love on Facebook Groups and those you have yet to discover.

Facebook is great for keeping up with friends, watching videos, and staying connected. Forum is where you go deeper in groups. It's a space designed around real discussions, shared interests, and the people who’ve been there.

Dedicated space for your groups
Sign in with your Facebook account and your groups, profile and activity carry over. You have the option to post with a nickname. Your groups still exist on Facebook and anything you share on Forum will be visible in your groups on Facebook. This is just a space built around them.

Stay in the loop on conversations you care about
Your feed is built around conversations from groups. See what real people are saying, not just what’s trending, and easily jump back in where you left off.

Ask and get answers from real people
Looking for opinions, advice or recommendations? Ask pulls together responses from across groups, so you can get answers right away from people who've been there and join the conversation.

Built for the people who run groups
Admins still have access to all their tools on Facebook, and now they also have an admin AI assistant on Forum to help manage their groups, moderate content, and keep their communities healthy — all while maintaining control.

Dive into topics that interest you
Forum brings people together around the things they care about, from niche hobbies to local recommendations to support groups. Share your take, join the conversation and connect with your communities.

Has potential but needs better searching and organization options so you have more control or it's no different than just browsing on FB. Notifications are just as vague and sporadic as FB and the links take you to the post but never the comment they are notifying you of so you have to search for it and I just end up going to my notifications on FB anyway and following that link as it takes me directly to the comment.

I see the potential but what's the difference from regular Facebook? also it is not integrated with messenger seamlessly. it's still a little broken and when I click on someone and message them their name doesn't even appear and messages don't send I have to go back to the real FB app.

like the concept, still annoyed that random algorithm content is served to my feed. Would prefer if there was a way to not see posts from groups I don't belong too on my main feed or at the very least if altering my algorithm and the content filters actually did anything. I thought this would resolve me seeing random people's and bots inflammatory posts, but no... the app is also very buggy with images and videos sometimes not loading without closing and reopening the app.
