I speculate this is very likely a highly useful app. I'm forced to speculate, however, because the app allows you access to absolutely nothing (except an empty "personal foraging journal") unless you agree to a 14-day trail that automatically converts to a $60.00 annual subscription if you don't intervene. No. Just no. As others have reasonably suggested here, offer a one-time purchase, not (yet another) predatory, overpriced software subscription.

Unless u pay $84 a year subscription & disclose ur personal email, all u can do is journal in it. i wanted to use it to identify edibles, but unfortunately, unless you have lots of money, u can't use the app. So it is 4rich people, not for the average person that actually needs to forage. Unfortunately, GREED has a way of ruining every good idea. Please fix this issue, & I will give u more stars. i will leave the app on the phone for a few months. But if there's no change , I will delete it.

The app is great and includes a comprehensive description of the plants, how to identify them, and lets you compare side-by-side with any lookalikes to help you distinguish them. That said, I didn't see any content that would justify paying a subscription for its use. A one time fee would make sense, but paying continually to have access to existing information doesn't feel worthwhile. I'd rather buy a book version of this for $30 than pay $7/month for access to reference material.
