Ratings and reviews

The app is great and includes a comprehensive description of the plants, how to identify them, and lets you compare side-by-side with any lookalikes to help you distinguish them. That said, I didn't see any content that would justify paying a subscription for its use. A one time fee would make sense, but paying continually to have access to existing information doesn't feel worthwhile. I'd rather buy a book version of this for $30 than pay $7/month for access to reference material.

Had a friend tell me about this app and show me, but didn't mention the fact it's subscription based. Can't even open the app up and explore it myself to see if it is even worth paying money for, which is an automatic turn off for me using any app. Definitely needs more clarity on the fact that you have to sign up for a subscription to even use it. Even then, I wouldn't waste my money on a subscription based app like this, I'd simply go pay a one time fee for either a book or another service.

Downloaded this after seeing a video online and thinking it could be incredibly useful. While it was downloading, I read the reviews and realized you can't EVEN USE THE APP without paying for the subscription (after the free trial, of course). Immediately deleted without opening. I absolutely would pay a 1 time payment (even something as high as $20) for access to an app like this purely for the access to information and convenience over a book, but a recurring charge of $7 a month is absurd
