App works on my more obscure-brand IR-equipped phone (in this case my phone did recognize a Benq projector). App has a relatively straight-forward GUI. I'd certainly pay to have a non-ad version of this since the ads are quite disruptive and there seems to be no option to pay to remove ads.

It does not work with aaxa P7. I'm leaving a 1-star rating because it not only does not work with my projector it's ridiculous that as soon as you open the app you're forced to watch ads. Once you select your projector you have to watch more ads. Not only are they getting paid for you downloading the app they're getting paid for those ads on an app that you can't even use and you're forced to watch.

It's a scam, good thing I gave them my old card number. Why would you need my credit card info. for a free app? They tried to bill my old card. For 15 or 16 dollars, good thing I cought on.
