Apparently only works if you are in the UK. Keeps telling me it is having problems and try again later, and it says I am offline. I have a robust ISP and Internet service so I am clearly online. These errors have been recurring for several days. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it but the errors continue. Have app on phone and tablet and app has the same issues on both appliances.

New issue as of 06 Feb 2026: Unable to access the "Activate Ticket" button. (Workround: go into Phone Settings/Display & change from default to small) Scotrail app constantly times out. Takes far too long to restart. Too many steps to get back to the ticket page for barriers & ticket checks. (Should be 1 click from any page). Easy to purchase tickets but overly difficult to get refunds when services are cancelled.

The update logged me out, and deleted the ticket off my phone. I had to find my login details, then download my ticket. This happened at the barrier, with my train leaving in less than five minutes. I don't need this first thing in the morning.
