About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can now monitor your glucose levels by scanning your sensor with your smartphone. FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users can now get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and receive alarms for hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. [1][2]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

*view your current glucose reading, trend arrow, and glucose history
*receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors [2]
*view reports, such as time in range and daily trends
*share your data, with your consent, with your doctor and family [3]

USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can be played on either your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (but not both). You must start the sensor with the app to receive alarms on your phone. You must start the sensor with your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader to receive alarms on it. Once the sensor is started with the reader, you can also scan the sensor with your phone.

Reminder: The app and reader do not share data with each other. To receive comprehensive information about a device, scan your sensor every 8 hours with that device. Otherwise, your reports will not reflect all data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is intended, when used with a sensor, to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes. [1] If you use the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system, as the app does not offer this feature.

Ratings and reviews

The application is very helpful and works fine, but I have two complaints. First, the alarm is notifying me that it is not well set up, even though it is activated. Second, and most importantly, the application is not showing me low glucose events. Uninstalling and reinstalling the application did not resolve these issues. Can you please correct them?

I am using this app for more than a year. Since a while now displaying the list of today's values in the log takes nearly 1 minute. Once I have edited or added a value displaying the updated list takes the same time. I am pretty sure the logbook was not requiring these waiting times in the beginning. I try to avoid manual entries in the logbook now.

I like all the stats given. I wish I could have the permanent measures of the App even if starting a sensor with the freestyle reader. Depuis la dernière mise a jour Android 16, l'application ne fonctionne plus. problème de connection NFC!!!
