About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can now monitor your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone, or use FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors to receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1] [2]

With the FreeStyle LibreLink app you can:

‎* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow, and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]
* Consult reports such as Time in Range and Daily Trends
* Share your information with your doctor or family members if you have given permission [3]

COMPATIBILITY WITH SMARTPHONES
Compatibility may vary by phone and operating system. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.

USING THE APP AND SCANNER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be issued by the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner or by your phone (not both). If you want to receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. If you want to receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner, start the sensor with the scanner. Once the sensor is started with the scanner, you can also scan that sensor with your phone.

Please note that no data is exchanged between the app and the scanner. For complete data from a device, scan your sensor every 8 hours with that device. Otherwise the reports will not contain all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices via LibreView.com.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE APP
FreeStyle LibreLink allows people with diabetes to measure glucose levels when used in combination with a sensor. You can read how to use FreeStyle LibreLink in the user manual that you can open in the app. If you require a printed user guide, please contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Service.

Consult with a healthcare provider to determine if this product is appropriate for you or if you have any questions regarding the use of the product when making treatment decisions.

[1] If you use the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system as the app does not provide this.
[2] The alerts you receive do not include your glucose reading. So you need to scan your sensor to check your glucose level.
[3] Use of the FreeStyle LibreLink app and LibreLinkUp app requires registration with the LibreView system.
