too buggy to use. EG when plotting a route you can't click on any of the buttons (like undo) because the press is detected on the map so it adds another point. the homing button zooms to laylt long 0, 0 even though it knows where I am. even logging in was a frustration

I tried the app over the last few weeks. As a recreationalist and outdoor pro (SAR and avalanche forecasting) it has a long way to go. Feels like the testing stage, not a $120/year app. There are other paid apps that do a far better job (CalTopo and Gaia which already have the same functions as this app). Many errors causing me to delete the app: - Offline imagery failing while navigating. - Sat imagery failing while online. - Download area smaller than a day trip. Don't bother yet.

I really wanted to like this app, but on day two of the 3-day free trial both maps that I downloaded disappeared from the library and I can't see anything in 2D in an area I downloaded. My options there are 3D topo and 3D satellite photos. No 2D and I don't know whether the maps are downloaded or not. I tried to track a hike anyway and it asked me for two permissions, which I gave, and it proceeded to not track my hike. Uninstalling but hopeful it will be a viable Canadian-made option soon.
