Excellent tool for weight lifting I've tried several trackers, but prefer this one because it has so many useful features that cut down on data entry time. Also no social media BS.
Tracking Made Simple This app does exactly what it says. It makes tracking easy, there are no ads, and it analyzes your history. No forced social interaction but you can share routines through a myriad of options.
Loved the new updates Love the plate calculator. I previously use another app side to side with fitnotes and now there is no need to use two apps at once. Very useful. I got a suggestion though. Is there any way to key in sets, reps and time for isometric hold exercises such as plank.
Great app Great modular workout app, perfect for those who like to track their progress precisely. It could be easier to use, especially when it comes to editing your workouts, but that's the only flaw I have with it. Also having no ads anywhere is amazing, not having to worry about being redirected from the app when my hands are shaking and misclick during a workout.
I can't believe it has taken me this long to review FitNotes, but it might be because I stay so busy actually using it! I can honestly say that this is the most valuable app on my phone, since I train 5-6 days per week, and having a flexible, searchable, stable training log on my phone has been invaluable. Critically, FitNotes resolved all the glaring flaws in other solutions that I had tried: there is no proprietary social media platform; no reliance on server syncing; total freedom to customize categories, exercises, and color labeling; an elegant interface with no bloat behind the scenes; absolute stability (seriously, I cannot recall a crash on any of my phones); and a dev who demonstrates his commitment to quality by keeping FitNotes fee-free, ad-free, and driven by interaction with his user base. Thank you, James.
It's truly special. I have owned this app for a couple of years now. Each release makes it better. I especially love the timer function. It keeps my workouts consistent and productive. Other great features are the personal best records and the graphs that let you know if you are making progress.
