I feel like I got lucky. I see a sea of apps dealing with fitness and wellness, and I started with this one. It lets me track my workouts in a way that make trending and growth natural. Logging sets could not be easier. If I did the same weight and reps as last time I just tap a checkmark. If something changed, I update the change and it's done. It is blissfully free of ads, and if social media is not your thing they let you turn it off. I get the sense that the developer uses the app.

Great app. Good functionality, good UI, and not too much extra junk, just the right amount of motivational fluff. If you only need 4 or fewer routines, the free version is more than adequate, it doesn't nag you constantly to upgrade like other apps do. The only criticism I have is that it doesn't autosave/end after a period of inactivity which means that I will finish a workout, forget to close it out on the app, and will come to my next workout to find that yesterday's workout is still running

Watch app has an issue where even when not wearing it (it has a metal band, so I don't wear when lift weights/bending wrist) the timer goes off, about 5 seconds after my phone. Other than that, the app works well on the phone for weighted workouts, I have switched to doing a hybrid calisthenics workout, and it doesn't have many of those exercises. I tend to have to put them in as "stretching" with a time and just put the name in the notes, not the best as I can't easily track reps.
