EDIT: The feature I described for routines has actually been added and it's great. Still nothing on the distance/time or weight/distance changes though. Love the simplicity and clean UI. Would be better if users were able to add predetermined sets/reps for routines instead of just the exercise, similar to the copy previous workout function. Also, logging certain exercises such as farmer's walks are tricky, since the fields are preset as weight/reps or distance/time. Custom subfields would be great.
Very nice app A lot of nice features, but took some time finding my way around. It appears there may be some added clicking to get where you need to be. So I created a routine I do, and when I go to do it, I click start a new workout and select my routine. With my routine laid out right there, I would think all I need to do is select the first exercise and it would start up awaiting my inputs. But when I select the first exercise I have to then select all the sets and reps and save that, which then allows me to start....
Easy, but doesn't have sync feature It is easy to add activities but it doesn't sync with multiple devices, so you need to always use one device. (You can back it up) It doesn't have much for personal fitness goals. Nowhere to enter your weight or height so no caloric data, no weight tracking, no motivators or tracking of any holistic fitness goals. And data entry for machines like elliptical are very limited: just time and distance, which doesn't mean much. If you just want to track how much weight you've lifted, this will work.
Great app ... nice features like auto backup, nice stats, developer is really nice too Switched from Gymrat when Google Play no longer supported it. Needed a way to get all my old Gymrat data into a new program. I contacted developer for this app and he was awesome...ran my old CSV data through an importer and it worked great. This has better stat breakdowns than Gymrat did, and the auto backup feature is awesome. This is definitely now my app of choice for tracking my gym progress.
Works Well! But... I basically don't need to manually log in work outs anymore since I have this app. Not only can you create exercises that don't exist, but you can add notes to your sets as well. I do wish it had more customization, though. But I use this app all of the time. It also shows a calender of the days you work out, with color codes for different body parts. But I wish you could create additional body parts. I have forearm exercises under biceps, for example.
I like this app. It helps me track and show my progression at the same time,motivating me to do better than last time. Only thing I feel it's missing is a type or description and/or pic for the exercises listed. Their can be many names for one exercise and not everyone may know what every exercise listed is.
