Open source saves the day yet again. Beautifully simplistic. I've tried many apps of this nature and this one has been the best so far. I just started starting strength, and each time I go I have this app open so I can log what I'm doing as I'm doing it, and then compare it to what I did last time. For each exercise you can also keep notes about what you ate that day, changes you made to form, how much sleep you're on, etc.. Being able to visualize progression on each lift is also a nice feature.
Been using this app for a couple of years now and I love it.. Ales it easy to keep track of your workouts and create/save routines that you select rom a drop down menu. Only thing I wish it had was a way to export/Import routines and workout so you could easily share them. Not a deal breaker but would be helpful!
This is the only app that I have kept on Android every since I acquired it long ago and the only fitness app I always recommend to anyone I know who has an Android. The continuous updates to make it intuitive and useful is simply the best. Every time I think this app should add on something the next update is already including it. If there's one suggestion I would like to make which would help tremendously (at least for me) are to add a feature that helps with workout programs like 5/3/1 into the sets so I don't have to think about the percentages or to adjust my weights for my next sets. It will just do it automatically for those next sets in the next workout. That would be awesome. Thanks for creating the perfect fitness app.
Wish I could rate it 7 stars. This app has everything I need to track my workout progress. Interface is clean, minimal and beautiful. App is intuitive and easy to use. Absolutely no ads, so developer deserves a big kudos for his excellent product. Being a hobbyist developer, I know the pain and efforts it takes to build even a simple app. Developer is giving it out for free. Hats off to him. And yes, this app is wonderfully easy to use. My search stopped here.
This is an awesome app. Very convenient. However when creating a new excercise there are only two cateogeries weights and reps, time and distance. What if I am doing planks, I need to log only time. What if I can't do weighted pullups and I want to include the no. If reps in the workout volume graph. Please include these two things and the app will become a complete package.
Regardless of the creator James irrelevantly announcing he's gay. Its a simple but brilliant app that alows you to track your workouts. And notifies you if youv done more than previously. Dont worry James, I know some very successful human beings with the attribute of being gay. Well done regrdless
