Ratings and reviews

The app has lots of control features including ones that allow you to discharge at times of the day when export prices are high. However, I would like to see a feature that allows you to curtail production. My power provider has negative feed-in tariff at certain times of the day, and if my battery is already full and there is no load on in the house, the inverter logic would normally export excess power, however this can be disadvantageous during times of negative feed-in tariff.

It's an excellent app that is easy to use. I noticed that the new "Off-grid" mode option under the working mode is useful when you are experiencing fluctuating grid voltage. However, I also prefer if the "Self-consumption" mode can set the inverter to run "Off-grid" mode automatically when there's enough battery capacity, solar power is available, and the export power limit is set to 0. Alternatively, you may add an option under "Off-grid" mode to set time periods to activate it.

the control options are easy to use and have worked very well for me. i manage 3 different TOU tariffs and have no problem configuring the system for what I need. the data metrics that the app displays are all absolute rubbish. grid imports to the battery are double counted as consumption when imported to the battery and again later when used by the load. this skews all other data. all solar generation is counted as revenue, rather than just what is exported to grid. the app crashes constantly.
