However, I've noticed some bugs, especially when emptying the trash, which can cause the app to freeze. Despite this, it remains a useful tool for managing files effectively.

I initially loved using files for downloaded music, but the sorting action is annoying ever since the change. When I go to search for recent files (photos or audios) I downloaded, it would say "no recent files", and I have to go to my download folder and such just to find what I'm looking for. I don't understand what else I could do. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

What's new

Over the next few weeks, we're rolling out the following features:
- Use Circle to Search on images opened from the Files app. Tap the Lens icon, then select what you’re curious about in whatever way comes naturally to you — like circling, highlighting, scribbling or tapping.
- Create .zip files from the Files app, or open .zip files while using other apps.

We fixed an issue that some users were experiencing when opening files.
