App would be very useful except it requires a credit card for verification. Really? A free app? So reluctantly I tried 2 different credit cards. Both were rejected because they were the wrong "type"! Really (part 2)? A Visa and American Express? I wasn't about to try my 3rd card as it was the main one we were traveling with. Seems like a good way to harvest credit card numbers to me.

Hi Robert, we certainly don’t require any sort of credit card verification. We wonder if this might have been a malicious banner ad. Did you happen to get a screenshot of it by any chance? We will try to track it down and report it to Google.

Horrible outdated interface. Very unclear. Says T2.. Yet didn't show in the map which colour is that one.. you are supposed to know. 10 years later it's as bad as the first version. Google Maps is clearer. And also displays ads!!! Seriously.. the expensive Sydney transport system and you want people to pay to be informed to travel on your trains?

Sorry that you found the app unclear. TripView is a timetable viewer designed mainly for regular commuters. We do assume that you are already familiar with the route. It's not a trip planner like Google Maps, and it is not designed to be.

This always been a handy app, but this version is annoying. About 1/3 of the time, it won't accept keyboard input and needs a restart. Almost every time I search for a trip, response is delayed by ~5 secs, then the screen goes black for up to 5 secs, before details are displayed. This app used NOT to have these issues. I'm not sure whether this is due to app issues, or Android Go sucking (it does), or both. My phone is almost new and has plenty of memory. Turning off other apps doesn't help.

Thanks for reporting this. We haven’t seen this issue before, so it might be a phone specific issue. Did it just start happening recently?
