Not sure why other reviews keeo saying you need an account to use this. It does offer to login to an account but you don't have to. On the app itself, it has absolute buckets of useful information in an organized format that is easy to use. No account required. I also love the old school fallout 1 theme of the app.

Promoted in the description as having access to free articles. After I signed up for an account (because the app wouldn't let me do anything else), I then get a screen requiring a payment plan/subscription. App would not let me access any of the "free" articles as advertised. Also the ad running on Social Media does not mention needing a subscription (not shocked, but come on! Immediately deleted my account and uninstalled. Just be open about there being a payment plan...

A MUST have app. I love this app, it's super useful and user friendly. I've already learned so much and I spend a lot of time outdoors as it is. Once you set up your account, it's always available offline too. If you're an outdoors person, or just like to be prepared for all situations this is a great resource.
