Originally I didn't like it zooming in as I get closer to a turn, but you get used to it. Make it configurable. Route options could use some work. It's quick to re-route, but tries to make me do a u-turn for a long time before giving up. Not showing or saying exit numbers is really annoying. Announcements are way too frequent. You don't need to tell me to go straight every 100 feet as I approach a stop light that I'm not even turning at. Please get rid of that huge menu box when not navigating.

I could see this becoming my favorite gps. 4 things bug me... 1) speed limits aren't correct. I drive by 3 signs that say 70, but the GPS says 60. 2) voice commands while driving. Shouldn't have to pull over. Let me talk to it. 3) add voice command waypoints. 4) when not in navigation mode, let me hide the black screen that takes up half the monitor. 2019 Silverado with Android auto. Thank you!

Has to be running before connecting to Android Auto. Still needs the drive mode. Setting a destination is not a good work around. Please see all the other comments on this. Destinations give directions that get irritating as you drive by or around them. I will keep using other apps until you get back to having the most useful features. I'm done good bye.

Hello Gregory. We'd advice to set a destination and start a navigation and then the app should provide exactly the same information as the drive mode used to. We hope it helps.

What's new

Here are the BETA release notes for WeGo 4.5.000.

- Bike is back
Cyclists unite! You can once again use the app to find the best bike route to where you want to go.

- Offline walk guidance

Bug fixes:

- A very specific issue wouldn’t calculate long routes with road closures in certain languages.

- When using Android Auto, the app guided drivers to the center of a point of interest. Drivers will now be guided to vehicle entry ways.
