About this app

The HondaLink® app has added new and exciting remote control features like Remote Engine Start, Remote Door Lock/Unlock, and Find My Car. Available for 2018+ Odyssey Touring/Elite, 2018+ Accord Touring, 2019+ Insight Touring, 2019+ Pilot* Touring/Elite/Black Edition, and 2019+ Passport* Touring/Elite vehicles. Battery charge monitoring and control is available for Clarity Electric and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.

*Remote Engine Start is currently not available for 2019+ Pilot Touring/Elite/Black Edition and 2019+ Passport Touring/Elite vehicles.

Pretty useless app. While it looks pretty good, as other have said it just doesn't work. I have a new 2019 CR-V and I've tried to use it a bunch of times but have only managed to connect once. They really need to get it working. Edited to add: after all this time and at least a few app updates this app still doesn't work. It refuses to recognize my established BT connection between the car and phone and just won't work. I love Hondas but this is intolerable and they have lousy SW people

Clunky pairing process. It took days to connect my vehicle, involving many calls & emails with Honda to resolve. UPDATE: Finally got it paired. Updates with vehicle only happens every few hours, or when an event happens, such as charging starts or stops. It would be nice if it could update more often. But even so, it is useful. Remote climate is very slow to turn on, & often doesn't work. The car itself is awesome. But the app news a lot of work. I expect better from a company like Honda.

Update : Seems to connect automatically now. Hopefully fixed for good! Works once, then never connects again unless you remove your phone from the head unit's Bluetooth device list, unpair HandsFreeLink from your phone, and go through the setup process all over again. Have done this several times, but no more.
