About this app

The HondaLink® app has added new and exciting remote control features like Remote Engine Start, Remote Door Lock/Unlock, and Find My Car. Available for 2018+ Odyssey Touring/Black Edition, 2018-2022 Accord Touring and 2023+ Accord all trims, 2019+ Insight Touring, 2019+ Pilot Touring/Black Edition*, 2019+ Passport Touring*, and 2023+ CR-V Touring Hybrid vehicles. Battery charge monitoring and control is available for Clarity Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.

*Remote Engine Start is currently not available for 2019-2022 Pilot Touring/Black Edition and 2019+ Passport Touring vehicles.

My biggest gripes are that while you CAN see the charge on your car, the updating can take forever to refresh. So while it's nice to know my car is at 80%, that's not particularly helpful if that was 30 minutes ago and I'm at a charger that costs money. I'd also appreciate more functionality in the app, like setting up the volume settings in the car, or what source I want to turn on when I get into the car. I'd also like to set the climate control settings for myself. Overall good though.

Tried to use the remote start feature as I was leaving work, kept saying connection failed. Gave up, walked out to my car, and drive home. At some point after I had gotten home, the app decided to try starting my car again, and it finally worked. Fortunately it is cold enough I noticed the exhaust, and was able to run back outside and turn my car back off (of course before I ran outside, the app wouldn't load even after multiple restarts). What a chaotic pile of garbage, will def not subscribe.

How stupid. For me, the ONLY appealing feature this app has is the ability to remotely turn on the vehicle. I love to have it warming up or cooling down before getting inside. However, instead of turning my car on, the app gives me the message, "Remote Engine Start not executed due to maximum start requests reached." What. PLEASE REMOVE THIS MISERABLE LIMITATION. That is just one of the possible error messages this app is riddled with. Also 10-minute maximum for car ignition is way too short
