Appreciate the feedback, Peter! We built the app using WebSerial, and you're right, it loads from our servers. If you want to interact with your device without internet access, you can connect to it via a serial port. We've posted documentation on how to do this and some other goodies like 3D models to GitHub. https://github.com/iFixit/fixhub

what the heck? incredibly horribly designed app. zero instructions on how to connect a device and one single button with zero guidance whatsoever. I expected much better.
