WHY WE BUILT INNOCAPTION VIDEO
Visual cues and lip-reading can make communication easier, but video calling platforms haven’t been built with accessibility in mind. InnoCaption Video fills the gap, providing an intuitive, familiar video call experience with always-on captions that make it easy to understand every word.

Individuals with hearing loss in the U.S. can make and receive free, unlimited video calls, funded by the FCC’s Telecommunications Relay Services Fund.

FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS ANYONE BUT REGISTERED USERS WITH HEARING LOSS FROM USING INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) CAPTIONED TELEPHONES WITH THE CAPTIONS TURNED ON. There is a cost for each minute of captions generated, paid from a federally administered fund.

InnoCaption Video is designed for individuals with hearing loss and can also be used by friends and family when staying connected to them.

Ratings and reviews

My friends don't want to have to upload an app that they don't already have. It's unfortunate but the settings don't allow me to change it from dark to Lightview. It seems to be in its infancy, still needs to go through beta. I'm going to uninstall it, continue with Instagram and Facebook video chat since 99% of my contacts have those apps already on their phone with captions turned on.
