About this app

The MyMazda App makes your Mazda ownership experience simpler and more convenient than ever. The app allows you to do:
- Register your Mazda vehicle(s) to make online service appointments
- Locate dealers nearby
- Download owner’s manuals and guides
- Access and enter service history information
- Request Mazda Roadside Assistance
- Stay up to date with recalls

In addition, if your vehicle is Mazda Connected Services capable, you can activate it through the MyMazda App, which will take your Mazda experience to the next level. Here are a few of the things you’ll be able to do with Mazda Connected Services (all available through the complimentary trial period).
- Remote Engine Start / Stop
- Remote Door Lock / Unlock
- Monitor vehicle health
- Receive vehicle status alerts
- Easily find your car remotely
- Search public charging stations, check charging process, and facilitate ChargePoint payment if applicable (BEV/PHEV)

I've only had my vehicle for about a month and there have been multiple instances when trying to use the remote start function. There is an error that comes up saying "Remote start can only be used 2 consecutive times while the vehicle is not driven. Please drive the vehicle to reset the counter. (400S11)" This still happens even if after you have driven the car multiple times from the last remote start. There is no functionality on the key fob to remote start the vehicle in place of using app.

First, the support email for the developer contact isn't even active anymore, so that was a waste of time. Additionally, the Android version forces you to only use Chrome and doesn't choose the default browser that you use on the device. It has leveraged the default browser in the past, so someone messed up on one of the updates regarding the code that opens the browser on the schedule service feature.

Updated 8/4/23. The app stopped working on July 31. I can't use any remote features and the statuses haven't updated in 5 days. The start/lock functionality works fine. What doesn't work is the status. It tells you to pull down to refresh. I do that many times and it still doesn't refresh. The status is 2 days old at this point and it refuses to refresh. I've even driven it since then. This has been happening since we purchased the car 11 months ago and it's super annoying. Do better Mazda!
