A Better Routeplanner is the world's most appreciated service to plan, learn and dream about Electric Vehicles - EVs. Simply select your vehicle model, enter your destination and hit plan to get a full trip plan including charge stops and trip duration.
When you are ready to drive it, just go to driving mode and use ABRP as a real-time plan follow-up tool and even navigator, replan as necessary and get continuously updated information about your trip.

Ratings and reviews

Useful for planning a route, has good info about charging stations, but often wrong about the speed limit, which can cause it to be wrong about energy consumption (and slowing to meet its expectation may not be prudent). Sometimes uses the wrong verb, e.g. "turn left" for using an on ramp. I recommend setting min. charge level at station/destination to 20%, but YMMV (literally)

unusably bad on Android automotive. frequently hogs all of the clock cycles and crashes taking down the OS with it. if you navigate to something and then accidentally cancel it and then want to navigate to that place still, it requires you to force quit, which requires you to bring the car to a complete stop so you can navigate the menus. I wouldn't even rank this as a beta software more like a pre-alpha.

Bad at route planning in cities with construction. Sometimes it changes the route when it incorrectly thinks you're on another road and its slow at recalculating an alternate route. Not great at calculating the more efficient routes. Not bad for navigating to chargers when highway driving or for getting a general idea of what your charge will be at the destination. It has a wide choice of chargers to choose from. Waze is much better at general route planning.
