The previous version was adequate, it wasn't perfect but at least it worked. The last update made the app worse than worthless because of the bugs. For me it refuses to update the location I'm trying to order at, it only chooses another location even though the screen shows my preferred restaurant. Worse it charged me 4 times and didn't actually put in my order, so it just stole money from me. Awful, I have no clue what they were thinking releasing this app, it's the worst.

The Jack in the Box app used to be incredibly easy to use. One of my favorite ones. They rehauled the entire app a few weeks ago, and now it's almost unusable at times. It runs incredibly slow, makes me log in everytime I open it, and CONSTANTLY fails to apply offers, even if they completely meet all the criteria. It's pretty much fake advertising on their part. They tried fixing an app that didn't need fixing, and ended up completely ruining it.

The redesign is a massive fail - it's like they were intentionally making it as difficult as possible for me to order. If you don't want my money, just say so. Can't autofill from password manager, offers don't display, can't get a map of locations, and when rewards do load only on checkout, it's a horizontal scroll of two items at a time. On a screen 1600 pixels wide. I also didn't notice pricing both monetary and points until after I select details. Try doing some UX testing first. Thx.
