This is the only retailer app I know that gives me a "wallet" but not really. I can use it for rewards. I can use it for gift cards. I can save my JCP credit card info, but can't actually use it. The only way to buy in store is to carry the plastic card with me. The result is that Target and Nordstrom see more of me. JCP sees me less often.

I always seem to have a problem when I use this app usually within the checkout process finding items can be daunting... update.... 4 years later and the app is still terrible... I had a breakable item delivered in a bag! Of course it was broken. No wonder JCPenney's is having financial difficulty. No more shopping at JCPenney for me.

I ordered a pair of jeans for pickup at the store. Received an email saying the order was ready. Went the next day, and they couldn't find the order. Waited at curbside for 40 min. they ended up having to cancel the order. I'm more frustrated that they sent an email saying it was ready when they didn't even have the order. On top of that, it was a waste of my time and drive.
