Ratings and reviews

User interface is nice. However, because there is only ACH option, expect delivery time to be days. Not good if you are trying to send money quickly. I sent money almost a week ago and it still hasn't been received. Not sure if the app is to blame. Maybe it's the banks. Either way, they should look into expanding beyond ACH as only option.

The chat option in the app itself doesn't work properly. difficult to select the icon coz it's all the way to the top of the screen and I can't go back to the recent chat because it's at the very bottom. Also, the service is getting worse. It's no longer guaranteed within 1 hour transfer and when you contact the support, the solution provided is to wait. Obviously the issue is with Kabayan Remit and not the receiving bank. I hope you have other solutions in such situations rather than waiting.

Chat support says transfers of > Php 50k would take 1-2 BUSINESS days. Not reliable when you need the money quicker than this. Other remittance apps don't take longer than a day. I made a mistake choosing this app over my trusted one only because the money converted is more.
