Universal TV Remote Control turns your phone into a remote for the TVs you already own: over Wi-Fi with smart TVs, and over infrared with older sets that never went online. One TV remote app covers every television in the house — lost controller, broken buttons or dead batteries.

No account, no sign-up. Open the app, pick your TV, start pressing. A banner sits below the buttons, never over them, and nothing interrupts you while you drive the TV.

📱 SMART TV REMOTE CONTROL OVER WI-FI

Your phone and your TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. From there the app speaks each brand's own control protocol, not a one-size-fits-all guess, which is why this smart TV remote reaches sets that generic remote apps miss.

• LG TV remote: webOS, and the older NetCast sets sold around 2010 to 2013
• Hisense TV remote: VIDAA, including recent firmware that puts a pairing code on screen

🔒 PRIVACY-FIRST, LOCAL NETWORK ARCHITECTURE

Commands travel straight from your phone to your TV across your own network. Nothing goes through an outside server, and the app does not track what you watch. When a TV will not connect, built-in diagnostics produce a plain report you can send to support.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes, if your phone has an IR blaster. Infrared is a direct line of sight and needs no network.

Does my phone have an IR blaster?
Many Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco, Huawei, Honor and TCL phones do; most Samsung and Google phones do not. If yours does not, the smart TV remote over Wi-Fi still works.

Why is my smart TV not found?
The TV and the phone must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Guest networks, VPNs and split 2.4GHz/5GHz bands are the usual reason. Check the TV is on, then rescan.

Does it cast or mirror my screen?
There is a button that opens your phone's own cast and screen-mirroring picker. The casting itself is handled by Android, not by this app.
