Ratings and reviews

This is the closest thing to the old Kitco app that has been discontinued, so that is why I give it 3 stars. The app has a problem where none of the information is synced- the spot price on the notification bar is different from the price on the widget which is different from the last price in the chart. It used to be that the difference in the bid/ask price accounted for the difference, but this seems to get more inconguitius as time goes on. I should not be looking at a .43 spread in silver.

Good for prices. An enormous amount of trackers send data from this app even after you deny permission to do so. After each use you must force stop by Settings>Apps>Kitco Gold Live>force stop>scroll to storage>empty cache (not storage)>turn off all permissions to ever transmit to affiliates. Note I've registered 1595 tracking attempts this month. This far exceeds most other apps I have not disabled already. Very privacy invasive.

Update: Found spyware and other information stealing functions. can you please fix the app to actually be currency friendly. i don't want to compare my currency to usd, usd is of no use to me and is trash, it should be based on selected locations eg where you are and where you want to compare. for me the usa is not one of the places. i am sure others have the same thing.
