About this app

Tetsy is a read aloud app, TTS reader and AI text to speech app in one. Paste any text and hear it in a natural voice from OpenAI TTS, ElevenLabs TTS, Microsoft Azure TTS, Google Cloud, Amazon Polly TTS, IBM Watson TTS or Speechify TTS, or with a speech engine already installed on your Android phone.

Use Tetsy as a text reader, TTS reader and voice reader for articles, notes, scripts and study material, or as a text to speech reader that turns text to audio you can keep. One TTS router and TTS service for seven cloud providers: try an OpenAI voice or a neural voice, pick a voice (and a model, where the provider offers one), and Tetsy remembers your choice for each language.

Read aloud from other apps

- Select text in an app that supports it and tap "Read Aloud (Tetsy)" in the selection or share menu to hear it
- Use Tetsy as a TTS engine: choose it as the preferred engine in Android's text-to-speech settings, so compatible apps that use the system text to speech talk with the voice you picked

Sensibly positioned useful proxy for TTS APIs. Works as expected. I call it sensible. because it gives you the options to fallback to other/local tts programs as well as cache the generated audio. I do that and it serves me well for learning foreign languages.

Amazing app and it's concept and has scope of improvement by Perhaps the file type support .pdf and .epub will be more useful since it's more used on phones then .txt is. Thank you for caring on further development of the app.
