Install and open the app and you are presented with "Allow data collection". Why the hell does a remote need data collection?!?! There is no way to decline all of them, including unchecking "legitimate interest". If you go to "vendors" to disallow data collection: You have to uncheck for at least a thousand vendors, maybe even more. Why is this app sharing data with the whole world?! When I saw how many boxes I have to manually uncheck: uninstall and 1/5. I'd rather vibecode a remote app instead

I have cats so they always carry the remote to my strip light off. Whenever our power comes back on after load shedding, the lights flash which makes me sick, so being able to just switch them off from my phone is nice. Why not take the lights off if it's such missions? I dunno, they're cool when they don't flash and I can normally turn them off within seconds. Great app, would give more than 5 stars

Permissions: View network connections , have full network access, prevent phone from sleeping... .. Far too many intrusive perms for me. None of which are mandatory to make the app work. If you install this app either you have reading problems or maybe you should go read up on "the zero permissions app" that was on xda developers forums years ago. It will school you about permissions and how 99% are not mandatory. It's just a way to have you give your data to whoever the app belongs to. 👎
