Ratings and reviews

Weird limitations on how you can adjust the color depending on the mode you're utilizing, limited custom presets, unnecessary redundant actions required for what should be simple settings, confusing interface, etc. Raised to two stars by the cheap, cheap price for the bulbs themselves, compared to other, presumably superior, "smart" bulbs on the same shelf in the store.

TLDR - a good product is really only as good as the app, and the app isn't good. Able to add lights without much fuss, but that's about it. Adding two or more bulbs to a group is now impossible since they removed the option - can only add individual devices now. Changing a name is also a multi step process, and forgot about doing any action as a group. The whole thing is really an exercise in patience - and I work in IT for a living. If this is hard for me I can only imagine how others feel.

Doesn't work at all. Was a headache to add lights and now that they're added, the app just crashes upon opening it. Can't change them, can't connect to them. Just useless. Avoid this at all costs. I'll be getting a refund from Amazon and leaving an absolutely scathing product review too, since the bulb and this app go hand in hand.
