Used to be a good app. After the last 'upgrade' of this app everything went south. I'm not a fan of the landscape orientation, but that's more of a nuisance. I now can't view cameras in the app, and if any error situation occurs I can't click on the error otherwise the app crashes, and the leave feedback option doesn't even work (so posting issues here). Please fix as a security system that i can't see and review the status of isn't a very useful one.
Lifeshield Security system by Direct tv I had this system for only 2 days when it quit working. After numerous calls to Lifeshield Security themselves ( 15 calls total ) and numerous calls to Direct TV ( 15 calls ) they never addressed the problem, they never sent the installer back, they did absolutely nothing. It's now 8 months later, the system still has not worked since 2 days after being installed and still no word, no solutions from either Lifeshield or Direct TV but Direct TV sure has not missed a single payment for the system. Go figur
Basic The app is good for remote monitoring of your alarm system. I like being able to view/record from the camera. However, since they've updated the app, they removed valuable features such as the panic button :(
The app works fine for the most part, it will slow down over time though. The biggest problem with the app is after every update, it wipes out the settings, and the save credentials.
Never works The system in my home never works. The guy that installed it did not do a good job. The guy on the phone I just talked to would not let me speak to manger. I finally got one. They will not send some to fix my system.
This app is crap now. I view my camera one time after download and it only works one time. I have to delete app and reload every time to view my camera. I called lifeshield numerous times and never fixed. My tv app is not working either. Nothing is working as advertised and they won't let me out of my contract without paying $250. I will tell everyone I know that I work with to stay away from them and I work on a major contact with over 4,000 people.
