Honestly. They're forcing you to pay to fully learn the language when you can find a more similar free better version like satori reader. Also the translations sometimes are wrong and the grammar guides are not very helpful sometimes and make no sense. Also why are you limited to 20 LingQ 's? even if you delete them it doesn't let you learn more. it feels more like a cash grab than anything else. It'd be better if u could delete LingQ 's. Ugh. The free version should have less restrictions.

Investing in LingQ Premium is by far the best decision I've made for language learning. As someone who naturally enjoys reading, using LingQ as my primary source for natural vocab and grammar acquisition took me from A1 to B1 German faster and more effectively than any other app, textbook, or traditional studies ever did. If I could ask for one thing, it would be the ability to have a verbal conversation with Lynx AI instead of only writing. I'm currently using another app to supplement that.

Edit: concerns were addressed. Thank you! The new reader introduced some issues for me. The highlighting has always been a little janky, but it's more unreliable after the update. If I try to tap and hold to select it, sometimes it works then, sometimes it doesn't. Sentence highlighting is hit or miss and limits the number of lines of text you can highlight. I also liked to highlight longer passages and translate with the default Android translate feature. I can't get this to work anymore.
