Livestatus is an innovative messenger app that incorporates widget to provide users an efficient & fun chatting experience. On Livestatus, you can send all types of messages, including texts, photos, emoji status and drawings straight to your friends’ Home Screen. When friends see your message on home screen, they won't miss it. By simply tapping on the widget, they can easily respond back to your home screen. On Livestatus, you stay up to date with friends just like face-to-face.

- Send messages to friends’ Home Screens
Livestatus is the first app that allows you to ‘pin’ your messages on your friends’ Home Screen via widget. Everything you send in chat, including texts, photos, emoji status, and your doodles, will automatically go to your friends’ Home Screen. Pin your messages so your friends' will never miss them.

- Reply friends’ moments in Picture-in-Picture format!
Responding to your friends’ moments has never been easier! when you receive a photo from your friends on Home Screen, you can tap the widget and snap a photo to send back. You and your friends’ photo will be in the same frame in the picture-in-picture (PIP) format.

- Hundreds of status to spark conversations
On Livestatus, you can add fun emoji status on your photo to better express your feelings in the moment. We have a big status collection with 100+ emoji status. It's ok if you don’t know which status to choose, lively can random a status and it will be fun to see how your friends react :)

- Vanish mode available!
Livestatus added the vanish mode for sharing photos! when you send a photo to your friends, they only have one chance to view it. Once it's viewed, the photo will vanish both from your widget and chat. In this new mode, you can safely send private or timely photos to your friends without worrying about leaving evidence. Even screenshots won't work in vanish mode!

Ratings and reviews

The app is very unstable and buggy. The app keeps crashing and refuses to open at some times. We have to keep closing it and opening it multiple times until it opens and after that the chat can crash sometimes. The chat doesn’t update, you need to close and open the app or switch menus. Worst part of all, it does NOT have the lock screen widget and the widget it does have only shows the last picture that was sent on chat, Not even the info about the other person. This is with PRO.

The app is super cute but the widgets are so poorly sized it looks odd on my home screen and I don't like the lack of customisation. It also sometimes fails to load the photo onto my widget. I wish it also had a default and to a particular person as I assume most people like me use it to send to a long distance partner. It's annoying to have to select him every single time

Saw an advert for this and tried it out - the app has promise, but simply doesn't work yet. My friends and I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get the app to connect to each other, when we eventually were able to connect, the photos and texts still didn't work. Deleted the account shortly after
