About this app

Get Help Fast. On-Demand. Automated. The Future of Roadside Assistance.

Mach1 is the first on-demand app to truly automate & digitize the roadside assistance industry. Our patent-pending process is changing the way roadside assistance gets done, making it easier, faster, and more cost-effective for both customers and providers.

We've built an automated platform that automatically dispatches the closest service provider to you, getting you help fast, right when you need it most.

You can order roadside assistance without membership fees and you'll have the reassurance that your provider has been background checked and safety certified before they help.

There are many frustrations with the current roadside assistance model. From long wait times, hidden fees, non-vetted providers, no communication, and more, the roadside assistance industry is due for a major breakthrough. Its surprising technology hasn't been harnessed more, that's where Mach1 comes in.

“Technology is moving the roadside assistance industry in a new direction,” said Founder and CEO Rick Narpaul, “Our hope to is to create a new standard across the industry.”

What makes Mach1 different:
-On-Demand (pay only when you need)
-Automated dispatch (no middleman, or call center dispatch which add to long wait times)
-Faster response (Automated dispatch based on closet proximity to you)
-GPS tracking for provider & customer (See your provider's location and ETA)
-No cost to download or expensive membership fees
-In-app communication (Talk directly to your roadside assistance provider)
-Vetted & insured providers (We required background checks & proof of insurance)
-Safety training (All providers go through safety training)
-Payment processing (pay right through the app)
-Emergency contact notification (let your loved ones know in case of activation)
- No price haggling between an auto club and providers while you wait for help.

I live in NYC and this app automatically found a service provider 45 miles away in long Island instead of one of the countless providers closer to me. I was given no choice in the matter. I was given an estimation of 45 to 60 dollars for the service, and when my provider finally arrived there was no update to the estimated charge on the app and no confirmation of a final price. I was then charged 85 dollars for the service. I would have been better off just finding a provider in my own.

Asked for all information up front before I could even find out whether the price was decent. This is the wrong order. Then, the app wanted my payment details before asking my location or giving me an exact price. This seems super shady. Cancelling and uninstalling. EDIT AFTER REPLY FROM DEVELOPER: The developer replied stating that they need full customer information before they can display pricing because the price varies by location and service needed. Thanks Captain Obvious. That's clearly NOT what I objected to. The price had better not depend on what my credit card number is. You don't need that in order to display a price. That's why I say you're shady, and I stand by my opinion.

Edit: Not all customers that signup need help right now. Which is why we have the pre-set up, so when it’s an emergency they don’t have to worry about adding a card. There is a big red “skip” button on that page for those that don’t want to add their card. And we give them the chance to add it after they see the price quote in those situations.

Had a dead battery, got a quote $60-85, service provider arrived in 20-25 min. That part was great. But when they arrived, after giving me a jump, they tried to sell me a battery I didn't need then told me the price in the app was not the final price and that I need to pay $130. Mach1 charged me $60, now Mach1 is contacting me for more money saying that the provider says I agreed to pay more. I did not agree to pay more than the quoted amount and I will not be using Mach1 again. Uninstalled.

Hello Michelle, we've been trying to reach you regarding this. As we mentioned in our emails and messages- we were trying to confirm you agreed to the providers price before charging you- which we have not charged you. Being that it was in the middle of the night, our providers do negotiate separately for off-hour services and stated you agreed.
