About this app

When you apply for health insurance through the NY State of Health (NYSOH) marketplace, you may need to provide supporting documents to complete your application. With the NYSOH Mobile App, you can take a picture of your documents, or choose a photo of your documents from your device’s album, and upload it to your account. The NYSOH Mobile App now also allows you to view your eligibility and enrollment dates, program information, and more.

The NYSOH Mobile App is quick and easy to use. Following a simple log in from your phone or tablet, you can choose to upload a document to your account or navigate to your account overview to view your account information.

What they don't tell you when you need to upload a "document" is that you have to take a photo of each page to upload it. Only allows 10 photos per batch, AND you can't select more than 1 photo. So if you have a doc (tax return) over 43 pages, your efforts to have a PDF ready is Fkn mute. Need to take 43 photos, upload multiple batches at a time. Tediously time consuming on a mobile app when a desktop will get it done faster. Make PDFs allowable!

I installed this app. The first thing you need to do is read and agree to the privacy policy. It will not let me select I agree. I decline is highlighted and the only option that works. Once you decline, it will not allow you to proceed. Completely useless! Update: I called the number you provided and they were no help at all. The app remains completely useless, a complete waste of time!

gives you more options to submit your documents if you dont have a computer, and dont have time to go down in person. makes life a little bit easier!
