About this app

Direct Health is the fastest way to see your doctors virtually.

TEXT CHAT AND VIDEO CALLS FOR ALL YOUR HEALTHCARE NEEDS.
Direct Health allows you to text, call or video chat with your doctor, specialist, therapist, and veterinarian no matter where you are. No appointment is necessary.

DON’T HAVE A DOCTOR YET?
If your doctor hasn’t joined the telemedicine movement yet, do not worry, Direct Health can connect you with board-certified providers all over the United States who stand ready to listen, understand, diagnose, and resolve your issue. If needed, providers can use Direct Health to send prescriptions to a pharmacy near you.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Direct Health looks and feels like modern communication tools we’re all used to. Often called the WhatsApp or Messenger for healthcare, Direct Health makes communicating with your providers as easy as texting or video chatting with friends & family.
- Search for your provider or connect with those already on Direct Health
- Introduce yourself and explain your issue
- Enjoy the most convenient medical consultation you’ve ever had
- Once complete, your provider will collect payment when necessary

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Many medical issues can be taken care of by simply having a conversation with a healthcare provider. It’s not always necessary to go through the process of scheduling an appointment, taking time off work, driving to the doctor’s office, and sitting in a waiting room. If it’s not an emergency, try texting a doctor first and save yourself time and money. Here are a few examples that are great fits for Direct Health:
- Allergies
- Sore throat and stuffy nose
- Cold & Flu
- Skin issues
- Depression & Anxiety
- Pink Eye
- Sinus Problems
- Respiratory Issues
- Ear Aches
- UTI
...and more

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
When using Direct Health to consult with providers, pricing is always very clear and easy to understand. Rates are set by the provider and there are no hidden fees or charges. Once you find the right provider for you, you’ll see their rates right next to their names and payment with a credit card is simple, easy, and secure.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?
Direct Health doesn’t accept insurance but you will be provided with a detailed summary of the consultation that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

It worked ok and was able to connect with a doctor. Then it stopped connecting while in the middle of a consultation. I got charged for the consultation but not able to see the status or my prescription and not able to reach to doctor. Keeps giving an erro "connection can't be established. Please try again". There is no support.

You can't get a straight answer out of them. They didn't even give me a receipt so I don't even know when I placed the order, I know I filled out the questionnaire but that's as far as I went because I was still checking on between a different company, Next thing I know I checked my bank account and the $199.00 was coming out of my bank account.

App says "search for a doctor," but asks for a name first!! There appears to be no regional list or (gosh!) map of doctors who might even use this app...so I guess I have to keep plugging in my OWN doctors' names to see if they would even subscribe to this app. Tiresome searching. Nothing is explained. Ultimate fail.
