This app has always been excellent. I am ecstatic about the recent feature add-ons, such as, password protecting any notebook. This app has become my favorite above all the others! Not only does the app work great, it is useful in so many ways but the most important thing is that you listen to what the people want! It doesn't get any better than that! This app is a necessity!
Synchronisation isn't working well trough different devices if it comes to chronologically structuring of your notebooks (Usage of Onenote in Windows 10 on an notebook [with the app from the Windows-Store and also the local installation of OneNote 2013], Android smartphone and tablet. Between your Windows 10 and your Android devices you will have a different arrangement of your notebooks which won't never be similar. Notebooks that have been created on Windows 10 mobile app will never appear on Android devices and vice versa no matter how often you hit the sync.-button. Furthermore you can't change the arrangement of your notebooks on your tablet and smartphone or even synchronize the with Windows 10 mobile app if you have made changes in it. And why the hell it is necessary, to have the ,,recent notes" notebook on first place or why it isn't possible if you even don't use it like me, to close or to delete it? WHY? I can't get it!
I can't count the many different ways that I use it! For many of us, our daily lives boil down to lists: what to pack for trips, passwords, people to invite (and who's accepted/declined), things that I have to do today or this week or this month, grocery shopping and sooo much more. OneNote is intuitive and easy to learn. It's indispensable to me now.
Nice upgrade to OneNote, getting there. Would like fuller functionality found in Windows version without having to abandon Android for mobile. They either intentionally disabled hardware keyboard on ASUS TF700 from working or did not do adequate testing. Either way would expect more from Microsoft. But still will give them 3 stars for getting better with OneNote. 11/13/17 update, as good as Windows version, love it.
OneNote makes your handwriting text searchable. It does a good job recognizing my poor handwriting. I can take notes and find the information later using the search function to find a word or phrase. PDFs and photos can be added to a page and written on. Android for OneNote is missing some things like the ability to resize pictures or reorder pages within a section. 5 stars would go to the full Windows version of OneNote.
Amazing app, does exactly what I need to keep detailed notes. However there is one current flaw with the highlighter function. The page moves after highlighting a word or sentence and then moves the highlight mark to a new area covering words I did not intend to highlight. Otherwise great tool!
