Works, but inferior to iPhone version. It's really nice to have pen/stylus support. Unfortunately, that's about where the praise ends. There's password protected sections but you can't use the fingerprint sensor, there's no touch friendly To Do list mode, image interactions/resizing are non-existent, PDF insertion does not exist, there's no undo button, and text formatting is awkward at best. The app is useful, but significant UI work is required before this app is truly useful/at parity with the iPhone version hence 3/5.
fix it more the issue with google keyboard auto correct is kinda fixed. but, backspace often deletes the whole word instead of a single letter... i know about the delete gesture and im not using it but it is still deleting the whole word sometimes... how about you guys just remove the auto correct feature to fix this instead of adding features no one uses
Inconsistent and Crashes Why do all the One Note apps run independently. Why can I send a note from my iPad or PC but not my Android phone. It makes little sense. Get it together because for those who use multiple platforms, this app is horrible. Now, with the update, it asks me to sign into Microsoft every time. Again, why can't I send notes using Outlook for Android? Update keeps crashing and had to uninstall.
Love it but... I made the switch from Evernote when they started charging for 2+ devices. The import went very smoothly and there are several things I like better in OneNote than in Evernote. Upgrade wishlist: 1 - option to store notes on the microSD card. OneNote currently takes up 1.5 go of my internal storage! 2 - Undo option. 3 - option to share notes. 4 - OneNote starts up on my phone or tablet, then shuts down, presumably after it syncs up. Can we skip the shutting down step?
I would like to like this. I installed OneNote to replace Evernote since Evernote now requires a subscription for use on more than two devices. OneNote is still rough around the edges compared with the Evernote. To my mind, a serious shortcoming is not being prompted to Accept or Cancel changes on exit. A mistake in editing, such as accidently deleting something, cannot be canceled.
Buggy and bloated This app is very buggy, slow to sync, and un-Android like. Why is it 100 mb? After all, it's just a note-taking app. I think that's a red flag right there. I wish they would rewrite it from scratch. Also, office lens integration would be good, like on iOS.
1. Ability to open password-protected sections
2. Record notes on-the-go with OneNote's support for audio recording
3. Support for auto-correct enabled for Google keyboard
4. Support for inserting and viewing embedded files
5. Added multi-window support
6. Performance improvements and bug fixes
Use Evernote to make notes, remember everything and collaborate on any project.
