I'm not sure if I like this app or not. For me it works well mostly (none of the file issues others have described) but when transcribing from a midi it often determines note values in ways that don't make sense (they are too long or short and don't add up consistently per measure). It's a good tool for learning to play piano (going from audio to keys), but I wouldn't reccomend trusting it to help you learn music theory/notation.

I used this app for a while before, and for what it does, its really good. However, the most recent change makes it so that you effectively can't access any of your own files at all due to the recommended option not working. I don't see why the recommended option is even there in the first place, though, since I could easily see this being made irrelevant with a simple request for permission to access files, which many other apps do.

Very, very handy as a start point for creating a transcription. The ability to transpose key and the PDF export is amazing on a free app. It would be nice if it exported in several formats so adjustments to the score could be made as the product it creates is naturally dependent on the quality of the Midi that it works from.
