Ratings and reviews

Does the job to get me my account information and holdings plus gain/losses. I get notifications, too, for most transactions and alerts on gains. Would be nice to be able to set up more advanced notifications based on combo rules on certain stocks, ETFs, etc that meet buy or sell signal criteria or set up specific watchlists to get notified on. Also, need more standard performance ranges in default like 3 months, 6 months, 3 year besides 1 month, 1 year and 5 year.

Although this app provides many options to submit transactions, it makes it impossible to communicate with customer service. It will not allow you to type a message and consistently errors out when attempting to upload documents. I recently had to create a pdf document to upload to make a simple request. In 2026, the functionality of this app is completely unacceptable!

Compared to other platforms this is pedestrian at best. I honestly use others for my charting and research and just come to Merrill to execute the trades. Probably will move out of it completely soon, as the research tools are buried and the Orders process takes way too many clicks. They technically just "redesigned" the app, but that was simply updating the textures. Premarket hours also don't start til 7:30am. One positive is that phone support is GREAT. But yea, go to WeBull.
