It was connected with a lot of work and trying when I first got the system. It kept disconnecting, and I couldn't see when I was away, which is the whole point of having a camera surveillance system. I finally reset the DVR and tried many, many times unsuccessfully. Does not connect, and Amcrest is unhelpful. I am very disappointed and at this point considering getting another brand all together. The app is useless, and the monitoring is not accomplished. Zero is more suitable.

Playback doesnt work... again. App just doesnt work right and is very clunky. Edit - Up to 3 stars from 1: 8/15/24: App works better, motion detect replay works better, but still a nightmare to setup new cams. Also, Im constantly having to update the IP addresses of my cams in the app when my router changes them. Very annoying. Its a good thing I know how to find them... The average user will not know how to, imo.

The only good feature no longer works. The push notifications stopped working a few weeks ago, and will not work. I've had these cameras for about 2 years and haven't had any issues till now. I have tried deleting the camera and reconnecting, I've gone through every setting and it won't connect to the "Alarm triggers" setting either. I used to like these cameras because I didn't have to pay a fee, and I could use an SD card for storage. Now they are not as useful.
